CRUISE: to sail about touching at a series of ports. Webster's defines the act, but can't come close to defining what cruises have become since the 1960's, when steamship cruising as a means of traveling from one place to another gave way to the concept of CRUISE SHIPS AS DESTINATIONS in their OWN right. A new generation of cruise lines turned ships into "floating resorts" offering a wealth of onboard activities. Today, over 65 cruise lines with over 150 ships serve North and South America alone, and the vast array of vessels, itineraries, and cruise styles boggles the mind. There is only one given: "If you pick the wrong cruise you'll be wasting your money, and you'll have a long time to boot. So how do you choose the right cruise for you? Talk to us.
The amount of cruise information is absolutely overwhelming. But that does not mean you need to balance hundred cruise brochures on your lap! Just give us a few basics, like cruise timing, destination, or other preferences and we will do the legwork! Our computer will search through thousands of itineraries, cruise lines, ships, prices, dates, cabins, and more to give you solid recommendations. We will also use our own personal vast experience cruising around the world to help you with your selection. We are totally unbiased when making our recommendations because we want you to be happy with the selection. We are dedicated to finding the perfect cruise for you, not for the cruise line. We don't want to place a couple seeking seclusion on a "party ship" or put a family on ship that isn't "kid-friendly."
WHEN TO BOOK YOUR CRUISE?
Waiting until the last minute to book your cruise is NO longer the best low price strategy. Now, most cabins are sold at a discount early. As interest increases, so does the cabin price. Sometimes, cruise lines do offer last minute deals, but often the cabins are not guaranteed or are not the most desired. Most peak dates and new ships sell out early! So, book early for the best price, cabin selection, and sailing date.
